Fairfield Parks and Recreation is hosting a six week spring league for adult 18+. Sessions are offered on Sundays from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Jennings Beach next to main pavilion on the beach. Team Captains are responsible for registering their team and emailing the team roster (2 player minimum, 4 player maximum) to [email protected]. Games will be played either outdoors; games may be rescheduled additional weeks (same time/day/location) based on weather. Two games guaranteed per week. Playoff and championship games will be held in accordance with American Cornhole Official (ACO) rules.

Team Fees: $100. All League fees must be paid by 4:30pm one week prior to the first scheduled game.

Welcome to Art Strokes! Each workshop starts with a hand warm-up exercise, followed by drawing and painting with watercolors or acrylics. By the end of the session, you'll leave with a beautiful piece of art. All materials are provided, and no prior painting experience is necessary—just come ready to have fun!

Basketball plays one game per week, on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings at Roger Ludlowe Middle School, commencing in December and concluding in March. Interested teams must be comprised of 100% Fairfield Residents and should contact the Parks and Recreation Department to be placed on the waiting list as returning teams have first priority. All team members must register by the first scheduled game. Do you know what to do in a major disaster such as a flood, winter storm or hurricane? Do you know someone who has been injured in a major disaster? Did you ever want to help?
This training is for you. The CT Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security and FEMA have established the basic curriculum we will follow. You will train to be part of the
FAIRFIELD COMMUNITY EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM – CERT.

This clinic is designed for players who are just starting out and is learning the foundational skills and rules of the game. Will build upon each skill weekly!

All leagues are slow-pitch and open to players 18 years and older. Teams can be comprised of Fairfield residents, full time employees of the Town of Fairfield and Board of Education and up to 3 nonresidents. (Non-residents must pay a $100.00 fee and may only play in one league. Women non-residents fee is $75.00) The season opens in late April. 2025 teams will be contacted by the Recreation Department and invited to return. New teams that are interested in playing should contact the Department at 203-256- 3191 to be put on a waitlist.

Returning Players, both residents and non-residents, who participated in the 2024 season will be able to register ONLINE at www.fairfieldrecreation.com Check the Adult Softball link on our webpage for updates as the season approaches.

All NEW team members who are not property owners must register in person at the Recreation Department prior to the first game and provide 2 proofs of residency. Documents needed for proof of residency are a Driver’s License and Automobile Registration. (In lieu of car registration, current tax and utility bills are also accepted.) All address changes must be verified by the following: current real estate tax bill and/or current utility bill with name and address. Residency verification must be done with each calendar year. Approximate League Fees: $800.00 - $1400.00 (Will be determined closer to start date!)

Lessons are for all levels, beginner to intermediate for men and women. Courts will be divided by appropriate level. Adults will spend time drilling forehands, backhands, volleys and serves along with playing singles and doubles points. Lessons are taught by certified club pros.
