Action Squad is our extremely popular teen camp for boys and girls! Geared towards middle school aged campers, field trips, on-site activities include theme weeks, team games, crafts, and onsite activities each week. The program fee includes the cost for all field trips, on-site entertainment, a T-shirt, and pizza day. Staff ratio is 1-13. Max: 200/session

Children and teens with special needs will be able to “chill” and hang out where they may choose to play a game, dance, draw, watch a movie or just hang out with their friends. Bus Transportation will be provided from the schools to Fairfield Warde High School, but pick-up is the responsibility of the caregiver. Fall 2024 Art Strokes calligraphy workshops. This class is for beginners. Our instructor will teach the basics to write through your nib so you have enough confidence to be able to practice on your own. Participants will trace alphabets to help build muscle memory and control. We will provide all the supplies, and some will be yours to practice at home. We will create cards, tags, and other fun items for different occasions.

Join Danielle Ranocchia in our child and babysitting safety class! This certification will give you the skills and knowledge to be a confident babysitter. This 2-hour live class includes an overview of child development, how to handle emergency situations and infant & child CPR/First Aid Certification. Your child will receive a Child and Babysitting Certification with the knowledge skills of CPR, choking and first aid. The certification is not CPR.

Hoop Hero’s is an adapted Basketball Program that is designed to create an inclusive, fun, and supportive environment where children, teens and young adults with special needs can develop their basketball skills, build confidence, and enjoy the game. This program caters to a wide range of abilities and ensures that every participant is encouraged to thrive at their own pace. Camp Champs is a fun-filled summer camp program geared toward children who are currently in pre-k and may be entering kindergarten in the fall. This 2-week program offers a variety of activities including music and movement, arts and crafts, science experiments, as well as active, calming, and educational games. We also offer several on-site activities for our campers as well! Each classroom is run by certified teachers, current or former preschool teachers, or highly experienced recreation staff. A.M. sessions are 9:00am - 12:00pm with a maximum of 22 campers per classroom.

Holy speech bubbles, Batman! Is that a class for aspiring comic strip creators I see? It is, and if you’ve always wanted to turn yourself into a superhero or create an alternate reality and save mankind from invading aliens, this is the comic book class for you. It doesn’t matter if you can draw or not! You’ll create characters, craft a spellbinding story, pencil in your panels, add captions and—BAM!—sound effects, then ink and color your very own one-page comic strip. Objective: Individual comic creation and tools to recreate one in the future.

We’re excited to partner with the Fairfield Fencing Academy, to teach kids ages 8 - 13 the basics of Fencing. The first few sessions will focus on technical skills with their feet and their bladework in terms of form. By the 3rd or 4th session fencers will be hooked up to the strips and actually dueling with each other! The last day of the session would be a test for their footwork 1 badge!
