Action Squad is our extremely popular teen camp for boys and girls! Geared towards middle school aged campers, field trips, on-site activities include theme weeks, team games, crafts, and onsite activities each week. The program fee includes the cost for all field trips, on-site entertainment, a T-shirt, and pizza day. Staff ratio is 1-13. Max: 200/session

Children and teens with special needs will be able to “chill” and hang out where they may choose to play a game, dance, draw, watch a movie or just hang out with their friends. Bus Transportation will be provided from the schools to Fairfield Warde High School, but pick-up is the responsibility of the caregiver. Thank Goodness It’s Saturday! Be it dancing, bowling or just hanging out with friends old and new, this is the place to be! Each Saturday is themed around a special event or holiday and may include games, recreation, movies or a craft. Multi Sports will focus on the young athlete learning the correct fundamentals of basketball, soccer, and football. We will learn running, throwing, catching, kicking, and dribbling. Little Sluggers will learn base running, batting, throwing, and catching. Players do not need to bring equipment.

Camp Champs is a fun-filled summer camp program geared toward children who are currently in pre-k and may be entering kindergarten in the fall. This 2-week program offers a variety of activities including music and movement, arts and crafts, science experiments, as well as active, calming, and educational games. We also offer several on-site activities for our campers as well! Each classroom is run by certified teachers, current or former preschool teachers, or highly experienced recreation staff. A.M. sessions are 9:00am - 12:00pm with a maximum of 22 campers per classroom.

We’re excited to partner with the Fairfield Fencing Academy, to teach kids ages 8 - 13 the basics of Fencing. The first few sessions will focus on technical skills with their feet and their bladework in terms of form. By the 3rd or 4th session fencers will be hooked up to the strips and actually dueling with each other! The last day of the session would be a test for their footwork 1 badge! The program is an instructional program for 4th - 8th grade wrestlers to learn or further their development in the sport. We have an excellent staff who will work hard to teach the sport, improve individual skills and have fun.

The Grit Ninja has packed up equipment and is ready to turn Veres Park into a unique ninja warrior obstacle course! During each action-packed class, aspiring ninjas will climb, swing, jump and run on our ever-changing equipment (which includes a rock wall traverse, monkey bars, grip gauntlet, cliffhanger, balance courses, warped walls, and so much more)! Classes are led by The Grit Ninja’s professional coaches – many of whom have competed on NBC’s American Ninja Warrior. Our coaches will guide ninjas as they tackle our fun obstacles that build strength, coordination, agility, balance, problem-solving skills, self-confidence and, most importantly, GRIT!
